Skip
started drawing at the age of 12 from comic books. Now at somewhat of an
older age, he has drawings within seven countries and all of the United States.
Moving to Calhoun, Ga., from Memphis,
TN,
he has been inspired by the history of the area, thus motivated
to draw historic sites within this area of the country.
Skip majored in art at Freed-Hardeman
University in Henderson, TN, and at the Memphis State University in Memphis,
TN. He has developed his own style of drawing over the years.
Skip is a member of the Calhoun/Gordon Arts
Council here in Calhoun, GA, and works with the Gordon County Historical
Society as well. He is one of the featured artists at the New Echota
Historic Site here in Calhoun, GA.
His works of art have been published within a
Georgia state wide magazine, several newspapers across the country, shown on
television, and has been announced on radio on several occasions. Skip
has his works of art in over 7 countries and within all the U.S. States.
Skip also does commissioned works of art.
Skip presently has over 48 prints on the
market.
